PMI South Asia has undertaken many initiatives to promote the project management profession, including the establishment of the PMI Awards Program (since 2009). It is the highest recognition for the project management community in the country. This award recognizes and honors a project team that has delivered superior results through exemplary application of project management principles. The awards are given away at the annual PMI Project Management National Conference in the South Asia region. Awards have also been established for recognizing the contribution made to this domain by academia.

Additionally, PMI South Asia has undertaken multiple pro-bono initiatives towards capacity building and advancement of the project management profession.

We offer eight certifications that recognize knowledge and competency, including the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification held by more than 650,000 practitioners and growing worldwide.
