Study resources are available through our new self-paced PMI® Authorized On-Demand Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® Exam Prep Course. This course fulfills the 23 hours of project management education required to take the CAPM exam. In-person training sessions are also available through our Authorized Training Partners.

Organizations who recognize the importance of power skills — those “soft” or “interpersonal” skills like communication and strategic thinking — enable project managers to align their projects to organizational objectives and inspire their teams to work together, solve problems and deliver results that contribute value to the organization and its customers, as shown in our 2023 Pulse of the Profession® report. Because the CAPM® validates your knowledge of the profession’s preeminent global standard for these power skills, you’ll stand out to employers and be poised to move ahead.

Project management is a rapidly growing profession. Through 2030, 2.3 million people will be needed each year to fill all of the project management-oriented roles. With the CAPM, you’ll be on the fast track to opportunity.
