Sunil Prashara

President & Chief Executive Officer of the Project Management Institute (PMI)


As President & Chief Executive Officer of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Sunil Prashara is the lead advocate for PMI’s global organization, serving more than three million professionals working in nearly every country of the world. His primary responsibility is to implement PMI’s global strategic plan with a priority on strategic focus, customer centricity and organizational agility. This includes expanding the PMI footprint globally, as well as digitizing PMI’s offerings and platforms to benefit its members and a variety of other stakeholders. The plan will also continue to enhance and advocate for the profession of project management.

Sunil was named CEO of PMI in March of 2019. He brings more than three decades of valuable global leadership to PMI, with a solid track record of setting and delivering strategy, managing large scale transformation agendas, and meeting growth targets for international organizations.

Prior to joining PMI, he served as CEO of i1too Ltd in the U.K., a sales accelerator for digital start-ups, which he founded in 2016 and grew internationally. He previously served as CEO of Expereo International, and also held numerous executive leadership positions throughout the information and communications technology and telecommunications industries. His extensive multi-functional, multi-cultural, multi-geography experience includes managing sales, operations and digital transformation for companies such as Vodafone, Nokia, Accenture and Perot Systems (NTT). As a business executive, he has developed an appreciation for project management expertise, and understands from an “outside-in” perspective how PMI can expand its reach globally.

Sunil speaks Punjabi and Hindi. He is a graduate of the University of London and resides in the U.K. with his wife Kavita and two sons Kamran and Raghav. He enjoys golf, boxing, martial arts and traveling.

Caroline Das-Monfrais

Chief Strategy Officer, EMEA
FTI Consulting


Caroline is a Senior Managing Director and member of the EMEA executive leadership team at FTI Consulting, based in London. Her focus is to drive multiple market strategies including future scenarios and client service innovation. She leads the global FTI Resilience Barometer™, a unique methodology to help C-suite executives and boards think differently about their ecosystems and emerging threats in a digital, connected world.

She is an active #TechForGood ambassador and leads FTI’s global engagement with the World Economic Forum, including the firm’s participation at annual meetings in Davos. Previously UK business representative for the first UN consultation on business and human rights, in partnership with Harvard Business School, Caroline is passionate about the role of business in driving positive change. She is also FTI EMEA executive leadership sponsor for diversity and inclusion, as well as corporate citizenship.

Kulmeet Bawa

President and Managing Director, SAP Indian Subcontinent


Kulmeet Bawa is the chief architect of SAP’s growth and innovation strategies for the Indian Subcontinent. He is responsible for delivering bold transformations and exceptional SAP experiences to customers across the ecosystem, as well as guiding businesses in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka to adopt a digital-first mindset.

Over his 25 years of cross functional experience, Kulmeet has orchestrated business revolution by providing proven business outcomes for organizations across various industries and portfolios.

Kulmeet was previously the Chief Operating Officer for Resulticks where he led the growth strategy and execution of go-to-market for the organization.

While at Adobe as Managing Director for India and South Asia, Kulmeet was instrumental in accelerating the organization’s growth momentum by expanding the business footprint within the Enterprise, SMB and Consumer sectors. Prior to Adobe, he has held various leadership roles managing enterprise development and business processes for major tech companies such as Microsoft Corporation and Sun Microsystems.

With a relentless focus on driving customer experience Kulmeet believes in nurturing and mentoring team members, promoting design thinking, creativity and innovative culture. He also actively contributes towards social initiatives which focus on education and women empowerment.

Prior to his corporate avatar, Kulmeet Bawa spent 12 years with the Indian Armoured Corps as a Cavalry officer. During his tenure with the Indian army, Kulmeet was Aide de Camp to the Governor of an Indian State and taught Strategy at the prestigious Armoured Corps Centre and School.

Kulmeet is a graduate from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and an alumnus of the prestigious National Defence Academy.

Nitu Kaushal

General Manager, Compute, Edge, IoT and Digital Services, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, UK, I, ME, SA


Nitu is a strategic business development leader at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, based out of London. With over 20 years of global telecoms and technology company experience stretching across IoT, Edge Computing, Big Data, AI, Unified Communications, Connectivity, Managed Services and regularly managing business units with revenue lines >$1bn per annum. Nitu has been able to address the needs of both the Private and Public sectors within Enterprise. In addition to this, Nitu has executed pre & post M&As, turning business units back to growth whilst building strong empowered trusting teams.

Today Nitu’s team help customers transition into end to end digitally enabled businesses through the integration of Internet of Things & Cloud enabled solutions, operating across Finance, Insurance, Manufacturing, Automotive, Transportation, Utilities, Healthcare, Education, Research and Government verticals. This arena covers hardware manufacturers, software development companies, access through 5G development and working with Start-ups and VCs.

Nitu is also Start-up business advisor to Outlier Ventures, TLA and DoThings, a board member at Barclays Corporate customer advisory, a member and advisor at CBI, influencing government policies for technology based businesses, chair of Executive Women in Business at London Business School and awarded Top 35 Females Award at Vodafone Group Enterprise.

Nitu moved from Vodafone to Hewlett Packard Enterprise in July 2020 to drive the largest business unit leading Cloud, IoT, AI and Big Data services.

Sridhar Vembu

Co-Founder and CEO, Zoho Corp.


Sridhar Vembu is the co-founder and CEO of Zoho Corp. He started the company in 1996 in a small apartment in Chennai suburb. Today, all three divisions under the Zoho Corp. brand — WebNMS, ManageEngine and Zoho.com, continue to be privately-held and profitable. Sridhar is known for his unconventional choices. He started a product company in India when service companies were all the rage in the IT sector. In 2005, he began the Zoho University programme (now called Zoho Schools of Learning) where high school students are trained and then employed in the company. Currently, around 10% of Zoho's workforce is made of ZU graduates. Instead of opening new offices in metros, he prefers smaller towns or suburbs. In 2016, the Tenkasi office located in rural India launched Zoho Desk, a product that was developed there. Sridhar has also been instrumental in deepening and broadening the product portfolio of Zoho. He passionately believes in making in India and that software is his craft.

Vinay K. Piparsania

Global Automotive Industry Veteran


Vinay is an global automotive industry veteran, and has an extensive 30 years of operational experience at senior leadership positions in India, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East, mostly in the global automotive industry.

Associated with Ford Motor Company for nearly 20 years, Vinay has held progressive international marketing, sales and service responsibilities in Ford India, Ford Global Business Services (GBS), the Philippines and at Asia Pacific, planning, developing and launching several new auto models. As the Consulting Director – Automotive, with Counterpoint Technology Market Research, a leading Asian headquartered research firm, Vinay was monitoring technology and market trends in the global automotive and mobility industry. As Founder and Principal of MillenStrat Advisory & Research, he specializes in developing business and communication strategies focused on Millennial and Gen- Z customers and employees.

A marketing expert with technical and finance experience, Vinay has a mechanical engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi) and an MBA from Tulane University, New Orleans, USA.

Neeraja Ganesh

Director – Relationships, National Education Society of Karnataka


Neeraja Ganesh is the Director – Relationships at National Education Society of Karnataka, which has 17 institutions under it, National College being one of them, where she works closely with the industry veterans to build the industry academia connect. Her focus is to ensure the curriculum of the institutions is relevant to the current and future industry needs. She is also a freelance consultant, who conducts various training programs and workshops on leadership and behaviours. She also coaches people to progress in their careers.

Prior to this role, Neeraja Ganesh’s professional experience of 25 years has been in the Information Technology industry managing large teams, delivery of IT projects, Operational excellence and customer delight for large banking captives.

She has mentored and coached new leaders, first time leaders to understand their leadership style, and utilise their strengths to grow themselves and their teams. She has a very strong inclination to get the women of our country have a positive mindset, become confident and go all out to reach their potential. With this intent, she has driven Diversity and Inclusion programs in her organisations and also, volunteered and mentored outside her organisations to support this cause.

She decided to switch her career to work in the space of gender diversity after having mentored women from diverse experiences, age groups, industries and domains, to help them grow in their careers. She was heading the JobsForHer Foundation which was been setup to bridge the gender gaps in the country.

She has been invited by various prestigious forums across the globe to deliver talks on a variety of topics with the intent to inspire, educate and transform mindsets of the audiences. Her sessions on “Networking for Results”, “Personal Branding”, “Work Life Integration”, “Women and the Glass Ceiling”, “The Next Gen Woman Leader” have been extremely well received every time she has delivered it, especially to an audience of women. In a pursuit to reach larger audiences, she has started writing articles and has also been featured via chat shows and podcasts to understand her leadership mantra which has helped her, her teams, and the organisations that she has worked with reach their goals. She has also been invited to review books of leading authors, one of them being Ms. Apurva Purohit (President Jagran Prakashan)’s book titled “Lady You’re the Boss”. She has also been on the jury panel for many “Innovation” Competitions including the MIT Sloan School of Management, USA’s Inclusive Innovation Challenge.

She was awarded at a TEDx Women event organised by the Dayananda Sagar Institutions for her 25 years of achievements in the corporate world in 2017. She received the JobsForHer HerRising award in the Women Professionals category in 2019 for her contributions to the work of gender diversity, helping bridge the gender gap in the country. In 2020, she received theHerRising Award in the Women in Education category. She has received the Women’s Web Orange Flower Award for Writing on Women at Work.

She volunteers as a mentor at JobsForHer and Aspire for Her foundation. She is a core team volunteer at Hope works foundation. She is also part of the Women Leadership and Expert Empowerment committee at Bangalore Chamber of Industries and Commerce.

Dr. Anil Jasinghe

Secretary, Ministry of Environment - Sri Lanka
Former Director General of Health Services – Sri Lanka


Dr. Anil Jasinghe graduated as a medical doctor from Lvov State Medical Institute in the former Soviet Union and holds postgraduate qualifications MSc Community Medicine and MD Medical Administration from Postgraduate Institute of Medicine. In 2011, he obtained the degree Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka.

He joined medical administration as the Medical Superintendent of the Provincial Hospital, Badulla in 1996. Then he became the Deputy Director of the National Hospital of Sri Lanka in charge of the Accident and Orthopedic Service at the height of terrorism and in 2009, he became the Director of the Colombo South Teaching Hospital. In 2012, he was appointed as the Director of the National Hospital of Sri Lanka. He was then promoted as the first Deputy Director General of the National Hospital of Sri Lanka.

Dr. Jasinghe was instrumental in establishing the Trauma Secretariat under the Ministry of Health and became its Founder Head. In the field of injury and trauma he had a special liking towards the burning issue of Road Traffic Injuries where he has contributed nationally and internationally. He was trained in the field of disaster management in prestigious centers in the US and Israel.

He was the President of the College of the Medical Administrators of Sri Lanka in 2010. In 2011 he was conferred with the Fellowship (FCMA) by the College of Medical Administrators of Sri Lanka.

He served as a board member to the State Pharmaceutical Cooperation and National Transport Commission. He was the Chairman of the Board of Study in Medical Administration and a Member of the Board of Management of Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo. He is also, a board member of many statutory bodies.

Dr. Anil Jasinghe held the post of Director General of Health Services since 29th November 2017 till 13th August 2020. He was elected as the Vice Chairman for the 146th Executive Board of the World Health Organization (WHO) in February 2020.

His remarkable leadership in successful control and management of COVID-19 outbreak in Sri Lanka made Dr Jasinghe a household name in Sri Lanka. He played a key role in containing the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak in Sri Lanka by introducing various measures, including the nearly 2 month lockdown.

Since 14th August 2020 Dr. Jasinghe has been appointed as the Secretary to the Ministry of Environment.

Sandeep Kumar

Sandeep has led numerous programs and transformation initiatives including the prestigious ‘sGSTN Digital Transformation Initiative’ under Nandan Nilekani’ s leadership.

Dr. V Ramachandra

Jt. President & Head (Tech), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Aditya Birla Group)


Dr. Ramachandra has is a BE (Civil) from UVCE, Bangalore with an M. Tech (Marine Structures) from NIT-K, Suratkal and a PhD in Structural Engg. He was part of the faculty at S. I. T., Tumkur from 1985 to 2005, thereafter which he joined UltraTech Cements as the Zonal Head – South (Tech) and over the years has been part of multiple technology and product centric projects. He currently serves as the Joint President and Head (Tech) with UltraTech Cement. He is also part of various committee’s and councils, namely, Rigid Pavement Committee, Indian Roads Congress and Civil Engg. Division Council, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

Geetha Gopal

PMI Future 50 Awardee | Senior Infrastructure Project Manager at Panasonic Asia Pacific, Singapore


Geetha is a senior programme/project management professional with 14 years of experience leading large, strategic investments including AI, IT infrastructure, Data Centres, Digital transformation and Product ownership for two multinational organizations. She specializes in blank sheet assignments and regional, cross-functional IT management initiatives. Based out of Singapore, she works for Panasonic and is responsible for digital transformation, strategic projects and delivery of their infrastructure project portfolio. Until mid-2019, she has been with automotive giant Daimler, for almost a decade. In her last role there as a product and service owner, she has led an incubator initiative that transformed a research-based, in-house AI product into a shared service that reshaped their operations, and won several laurels both within their organization and outside in the industry. She has recently completed her Master of Science in Major Programme Management, at Said Business School, University of Oxford. She believes in the power of data and has submitted a thesis on the role of data in improving major programme performance in the smart-cities industry. She also holds a Bachelor of Computer Science Engineering, Executive MBA and PMP, and has done several public speaking engagements across the globe. In recognition of her contribution to the project management profession and IT innovation, she has been honoured by PMI in the prestigious Future 50 Leaders 2020 Global List.

Shriram Patki

Engineering Manager, PMO, Nexteer Automotive


Shriram is an Engineering Manager for Program Management, Process Engineering, and Tools at Nexteer Automotive Inc, located in Michigan.

He has over 18 years of experience in leading and managing complex multi-million dollar automotive programs with global (NA, EU, and AP) cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.

Shriram's professional experience spans across diverse domains and geographies, such as Product development and Manufacturing in the IT and Automotive Industry in India and the United States of America.

Before moving into a managerial role, Shriram has performed various roles in Systems and Software Development of complex industrial and automotive products.

Shriram has a bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering and he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

Ruma Mukherjee

Chief Architect, Unisys India


Ruma Mukherjee is the technology leader for Emerging Technologies at Unisys, India. She is passionate about data analytics and has expertise in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative techniques.

A data geek, innovator and team builder, Ruma has around 18 years of work experience in successfully building products from concept to production. She has mentored several global teams across organizations, engineering several analytics features in the areas of Real-time Prediction and Big Data Analytics. Prior to Unisys, she has been associated with IBM Software Labs, Juniper Networks and Novell. Her expertise is in the areas of Statistics, Big Data, IoT, NLP, Machine Learning and Cloud-native computing. She is a versatile speaker and has multiple patents and publications to her name.

Ruma holds a Masters in Computer Science from ISI Kolkata and B.Tech. from IIT Kharagpur.

Md. Abdullah Al Mamoon, PMP®
