It is my privilege to welcome you to the 10th Project Management Regional Conference 2024, themed Unifying Strategies and Leadership - Achieving Project Success. This year PMRC24 is being hosted in Colombo, Sri Lanka by the PMI Colombo Sri Lanka Chapter.

We are living in an Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous (VUCA) world. Therefore, it is highly critical to have unified business strategies and leadership to achieve the project outcomes and excellence. It is the collective responsibility of CXO’s, PMO’s, Program Managers and Project Managers to understand the importance of blending Business Strategies and appropriate organizational leadership to manage programs, and projects to achieve business success.

This conference will provide a professional platform for connecting, collaborating, learning, and inspiring to achieve project excellence through proper business strategies and leadership. Our team is working towards lining up professional speakers and panel members who can deliver and share their knowledge and experience to inspire, motivate, and educate all our participants, which will lead to more insightful thought-provoking actions. Furthermore, the conference will explore the latest technology trends in AI as a Strategic Tool and Project Management methodologies like Agile, and Hybrid together with the latest concepts in Strategic Leadership to improve project delivery and achieve Project Success.

Sri Lanka, which is also known as the “Pearl of the Indian Ocean”, in the past has faced many challenges due to the pandemic and political and economic struggles but is still more resilient and driven towards prosperity. For all our delegations coming from outside Sri Lanka, you will also get the opportunity to experience the beauty and hospitality of our country throughout the conference and beyond.
