The monthly seminars hosted by the chapter have not just boosted member retention, but have also attracted new members as they are open to nonmembers as well. The last quarter saw several sessions by experts: Cdr. (retd.) Yogesh D Chaudhari on "Project Risk Management Insights from the Depths of the Ocean: Submarine Operations”; a project management forum in which industry experts participated; Rajesh B C, head, services business, Themax Limited, on "Transcending from Managing Projects to Leading Business: A Perspective”; and Eric McCamey, executive vice president, principal analytics and solutions, NYMBUS Corporation, on “A Project Manager's Primer on Project Profitability and Cash Flow.” Other sessions included one on “Project Management in Oil & Gas Projects” and “What Not to do in Social Projects.”
