Mr. Jamwal is the executive director of Tata Industries and is responsible for the incubation of new ventures (such as Tata Health and Tata UniStore) as well as investments made by Tata Industries in new businesses and start-ups.

Mr. Jamwal is also on the board of Tata companies such as Tata UniStore, which owns Tata CLiQ, a one-of-a-kind, leading multi-brand e-retail platform; Inzpera Healthsciences, a health sciences company that markets palatable and efficacious therapeutic products (where he serves as Director and Chair of the board) and Tata Medical & Diagnostics, a leading-edge healthcare solutions provider. He is also a member on the board of the overseas subsidiary of Tata Industries — Qubit Investments Pte (Singapore). He represents Qubit on the boards of: Flisom AG, which manufactures flexible, lightweight solar modules at market-comparable efficiency and costs; i3 Equity Partners, a Tel Aviv based technology incubator in IoT (Internet of Things) and industrial IoT; and SDX Partners LLC, USA, which provides seed funding to student-initiated business ideas at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston.

Mr. Jamwal has in the past served as Director and Chair of the Board of Tata SmartFoodz Ltd (sold to Tata Consumer Products Ltd), Tata Advanced Materials Ltd (sold to Tata Advanced Systems Ltd), Advinus Therapeutics Ltd (sold to Eurofins Group) and Drive India Enterprise Solutions Ltd (sold to TVS Group).

Prior to joining Tata Industries, he served as Vice President, strategy, group corporate centre, Tata Sons, assisting the then Group Chairman, Ratan Tata, on strategy-related matters concerning Tata companies and supporting him on special assignments such as the Investment Commission (2005-2009) and the US-India and UK-India CEO Forums.

Mr. Jamwal started his career with TAS (formerly known as Tata Administrative Services) in 1989. His initial assignments, such as with the Indian Hotels Company Ltd. (Taj Group of hotels), included project management for setting up new hotels and flight catering units, with subsequent responsibilities relating to strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, where he was awarded the scholastic gold medal and the KV Srinivas Award for the best all-rounder. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in technology in petroleum engineering from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, and was awarded the scholastic gold medal and the best student shield.

Sudish Panicker

Sudish Panicker is the Managing Director and Head of BNY Mellon International Operations (India), a strategic growth center, delivering a wide range of services for the company’s investment management and investment servicing businesses to global clients across 35 countries. He is based in Pune.

Sudish is responsible for driving and implementing BNY Mellon’s Global strategy and the firm’s India Global Delivery Center that focuses on Client experience, innovation, risk and talent. Prior to assuming the role of Managing Director and Head, he was Senior Operations Director, Client Service Delivery where he was responsible for business line operations and India strategy. He joined the company’s India operations in July 2009 in Pune and has played a key role in its evolution and success.

Shailesh Gandhi

RTI Activist


First generation entrepreneur and Distinguished Alumnus awardee of IIT Bombay. Shailesh sold his company to become a RTI activist. He was part of the National RTI movement which was involved in drafting the National Act. He was convener of the National Campaign for People’s Right to Information (NCPRI). The only RTI activist to have been chosen as a Central Information Commissioner, he disposed a record of over 20000 cases, ensuring most cases were decided in less than 90 days. He gave many landmark decisions on RTI, apart from organizing the first digital paper-less office in the Commission. Lt. Cdr. Vartika Joshi, NM

Indian Navy Veteran | Sailor | Circumnavigator


Lt Cdr Vartika Joshi, an Indian Navy veteran, is counted amongst the better-known and most experienced ocean sailors from India. She is the first skipper from India and Asia to have led an all-women crew around the globe under sail as part of the Indian Navy’s mission during 2017-18. She hails from the hilly terrains of Uttarakhand and is also an Aerospace Engineer and Naval Architect. She was drawn towards nature and exploration from an early age and decided to make it a long-lasting connection. After having sailed for over 22000 nautical miles and 197 days onboard the Indian Navy’s Sailing Vessel Tarini, she and her team of six women officers were received by the Hon’ble Defence Minister of India on 22 May 18. Their Project named as the‘ Navika Sagar Parikrama’ remains the only such attempt by any military organisation in the world.

Raising her bar further, Vartika decided to return to the realm of offshore sailing in a bid to encourage and train the next gen of men and women officers of the Navy into ocean sailing. She kick-started crew and skipper certification programs for the Navy and managed a fleet of ocean sailing vessels from 2020-2022. In Jul 22, she retired from active service completing 12 years of Short Service Commission. She is currently working from home in AI and data sourcing at Appen Limited.

Lt. Cdr. Shougrakpam Vijaya Devi, NM

Indian Navy


Lt. Cdr. Sh. Vijaya Devi is serving in the Indian Navy and at present she is posted at National Defence Academy as an Instructor. She picked up sailing as a sport during her first appointment at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala. The gel and spirit to learn the skill has led to her being one of the Circumnavigator of India in the world. The officer is a keen sailor and has experience of offshore sailing which includes sailing ILCA 6 (laser Radial), Enterprise class of boat, 420 & 470 boat, J24 boat; as well as ocean sailing onboard INSV Mhadei & INSV Tarini. Post circumnavigation the officer has been part of the Indian Navy Sailing team. Apart from being a keen yachtsman, the officer is a qualified English language Instructor in the Indian Navy and has been training the officer cadets at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala and NDA, Khadakwasla for the past Nine and half years. The officer has been a motivational speaker on time-to-time basis to the youth of India since 2018.

Lt. Cdr. Payal Gupta NM

Indian Navy


Lt. Cdr. Payal Gupta NM, is a highly experienced expeditionary sailor who has clocked more than 47500 Nm on sail boats. She has participated in Cape 2 Rio race in 2017. She was the member of the Navika Sagar Parikrama I wherein six daring women Naval Officers undertook circumnavigation of the globe. The expedition was fraught with danger, with the crew facing waves as high as 50 mtrs with speed up to 70 knots. They experienced extreme weather conditions, starting with 45 degrees in India, 12 degrees in Australia, 0 degree in New Zealand and sub-zero in Pacific Ocean. She is an awardee of Naosena Medal (Gallantry), Govt of India Nari Shakti Puraskar ,YAI’s Admiral Ramdas Trophy for Ocean Adventure, Hindustan Times 30 under 30 award and Tenzing Norgay Awardee.

Lt. Cdr. Pratibha

Indian Navy


Lt Cdr Pratibha did her engineering in Electronics and communication, and joined Indian Navy as an Air Traffic Controller . The officer picked up the sport of sailing during training at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala (Kerala). She continued sailing as a hobby and participated in numerous Sailing races including the Navy championship.

She ventured into open ocean sailing in 2014 and undertook the first cross peninsular voyage by an Indian woman from Goa to Port Blair. She was selected as part of the Indian Navy’s all women circumnavigation team in 2015 . As part of training for this daunting task , she sailed twice to Mauritius and back and once to Cape Town and back.

The circumnavigation (Navika Sagar Parikrama) was flagged off by Honourable Defence minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman and also flagged in on completion.

Lt Cdr Aishwarya Boddapati, NM (Retd)

Lt. Cdr. Aishwarya was one among 40 officers who got shortlisted to train for the project Navika Sagar Parikrama. Subsequently, after initial trials, she was one of the six officers selected for the project ‘Navika Sagar Parikrama’ in 2016.

She is a Post Graduate Diploma in Naval Construction , IIT, Delhi 2013, and has done her B. Tech: Metallurgy and Materials Technology from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology Hyderabad , 2010.

Commissioned in the Indian Navy on 26 Dec 2011, Lt. Cdr. Swathi completed her professional training at AFA Dundigal and was appointed as AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLER at Visakhapatnam airport.

As part of Tarini, she was transferred to Goa for 3 years and on completion of the expedition was transferred back to Vizag where she currently looks after projects of INS Dega.

Cdr. Abhishek Kankan, NM (G)

Cdr. Abhishek Kankan, a gallantry award winner, is an alumnus of IIM Indore; Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Wellington; Naval College of Engineering, Lonavla and Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun. He is a Mechanical engineer with Masters in Defence & Strategy and MDBA. He has successfully completed the one-year Advanced Programme in Excellence in Project Execution (APEPE) from Cranfield School of Management, Bedfordshire, UK.

He has 21 years of unique dynamic career in the Indian Navy followed by seven years of work experience in the Corporate. He has broad exposure and myriad experiences ranging from depths below oceans to the highest point on earth, from high technological projects of national importance to warzone. In pursuit of his passion for extreme challenges, Cdr Abhishek has operated as a Marine Commando in Kashmir Valley in Anti- terrorist operations, is a Submariner, SCUBA diver, paratrooper and lead the Kailash Manasarover Yatra. He was one of the first Indian to do Combat Water Para jumps with US Navy SEALs. To top it, he summited Mt Everest in 2004 creating a number of world records. He also wears 'Hats' of managing projects of national importance – Submarine construction, Strategic vessel construction. Currently he is Heading a Tunnelling project and is a Corporate trainer & Motivational speaker.

Cdr. Abhishek was awarded Nao Sena Medal (Gallantry) by then President of India Dr APJ Abdul Kalam in 2005. He is also recipient of the Chief of Naval Staff & Commander in chief Commendations on three occasions for Gallantry, leadership, and innovations.

He has been a TED x Speaker at IIM Ahmedabad and VJTI, Mumbai. He has conducted corporate training workshops, leadership & team building modules, project management, outbound programmes, motivational talks, at various Corporates, PSUs, Government organizations, educational institutions i.e. IIMs, colleges, and schools across the country.

He is the only Indian Naval officer (also probably only one in the world) to have served in Special forces – MARCOS, a Submariner, Everester and a Marine Engineer.

Monika is a seasoned leader in the Delivery and Agile space, dealing with People and Processes to deliver Improved Outcomes across Projects, Programs, and Portfolios, along with Driving Transformation, Process automation, and re-engineering initiatives. In her current role, she currently heads the Agile Centre of Excellence (CoE) driving the journey to Agile Ways of working.

She has served as Director on the Board of PMIPCC (Project Management Institute Pearl City Hyderabad Chapter) for approx. 5 years, and currently volunteers with the PMI South Asia Champions program and other activities across the region to give back to the PM community.

Cdr. Milind Kulshreshtha

Milind Kulshreshtha has been associated with the drone companies for the last five years and he designed India’s first Kamikaze drone solution for NSG (National Security Guards). He also has an extensive field experience related to drone based in the Army’s Northern Command.

Milind Kulshreshtha is the founder of a R&D startup -AiKairos Pvt. Ltd. which works in the area of niche technologies (including AI/ML) focused on defence solutions, with drones usually being the primary technology platform. Other commercial solutions include Industry 4.0 for which he has a tie-up with Singapore based South East Asia market leader. Prior to launching his own company in India, Milind worked at ABB, Singapore. He also has hands-on experience in architecting multiple mission-critical Real-time systems, along with a decade of developmental experience in electronics and software projects with international collaborations.

Lt. Cdr. John Livingstone

Founder, Johnnette Technologies


Lt Cdr John Livingstone is the founder of Johnnette Technologies and Indian institute of Drones. After serving in the Indian Navy for a decade as a Certified Drone Pilot, he started his business ventures in 2014 and both his companies are bootstrapped with a steady growth. He holds records for being the fastest trained Military Drone Pilot and the only Naval officer to be awarded at UAV tetra School at Indian Air Force in 2007. Under his leadership, Johnnette has won 4 awards in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020. He is the product architect for all Drones made at Johnnette as well as Test Pilot for Heavier Drones. To his credit, he has written 2 Books on Drones and he continues to write more.
