As a part of the Youth and Social Impact program of PMI Pearl City, Hyderabad chapter, a team led by Naga Saujanya, G. Rajeshwari and Vijay Vemana visited a slum in Hyderabad on 28 May. The purpose of the visit was to assess the work of the social sector organization Akshay Vidya Foundation, understand its delivery model and work together for the chapter’s Helping Hand initiative. During a 3-hour walkabout, the team explored the living conditions of local children, gathered insights from the experiences of students and parents, and examined teaching models and materials.The chapter aims to launch a pilot program starting with a cluster of six centers.
