The PMI Chennai Chapter hosted its 11th annual conference, "Sangamam 22," on 10 September 2022. The theme of the conference was "Leadership Blend for Project Success: Dream, Dare, Deliver." The event attracted over 350 attendees, including top and mid-level managers. The chief guest was Thiru T. Mano Thangaraj, minister for information technology and digital services, Government of Tamil Nadu, who spoke about the efforts being taken by the government to make Tamil Nadu the top state for internet connectivity for all by 2030. This was followed by the release of the first edition of the chapter newsletter — PMI Thamizhagam.

The welcome address was given by Parvez Alam, president, PMI Chennai Chapter. It was followed by a talk by Dr. Srini Srinivasan, managing director, PMI South Asia. The context was explained by Prasanna Sampathkumar, mentor, PMI Region 11.

The guest of honor for the event was Dr. J. Radhakrishnan, principal secretary—cooperation, food and consumer protection, Government of Tamil Nadu, who spoke about how visible administration and common-sense leadership bring desired results.
