Two green warriors, D Suresh and A. Sadhana Rajkumar, shared their thoughts on the environment at PMICC’s knowledge-sharing and networking session at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras Research Park on 27 July. Mr. Suresh spoke about green initiatives in a household, while Ms. Rajkumar shared her views on sparrow conservation.Project management knowledge multiplied for 22 participants at a session in Coimbatore on 4 July. They were joined by 150 others via Skype. The topics included an overview of PMI and an introduction to the Chennai chapter, and PMI’s A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) including project management framework and processes. Other topics for discussion were the code of ethics and professional conduct, the environment in which projects operate, and the role of a project manager.
