It was a two-in-one celebration on 21 July at Uday Samudra Leisure Beach Hotel & Spa in Kovalam, Thiruvananthapuram. PMI Kerala Chapter members celebrated the chapter’s 15th anniversary as well as PMI’s 50th anniversary.Playback singer R. Ravishankar was the chief guest. After a short welcome address by Chapter President Dr. Krishnakumar T I, Mr. Ravishankar inaugurated the celebrations with a melodious song.After lunch, Dileep Viswanath, chapter vice president ― membership, updated the attendees on the chapter’s membership efforts and exhorted all to strengthen the chapter with timely membership renewals. Chapter mentors Rajeev Panicker and Jayakrishnan P S, former chapter president, spoke about global volunteering opportunities. This was followed by the president and chapter mentors cutting a cake, and a performance by a music band. Harikuttan K, chapter vice president ― operations, and Jayakishore S.R., chapter vice president ― education, also sang with the band.
