New edition of Prakalp sports a new look.

During the AGM and 57th PMP Club Meeting on January 8, the Mumbai Chapter modified its bye-laws. Raj Kalady released the annual edition of Prakalp, its journal. The chapter came out with three issues of Prakalp in this financial year. The latest journal sports a new look and feel.

Mayank Gandhi, steering committee member, Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), and Ravindra Tulsyan, a highly effective ERP/SCM/business process speaker, took the stage after the AGM. Gandhi spoke on rebuilding Mumbai and elaborated on the steps being taken in this regard. Tulsyan spoke about operations management as a key to project management.

Understanding Client Satisfaction

Mumbai Chapter has been actively organizing PMP Club meetings. Naren Bhatia, who has 33 years of experience in the IT field and has worked in BHEL, Reliance and IBM, spoke at the 59th PMP Club Meeting on February 1. He spoke on ‘an approach for client satisfaction measurement in IT outsourced projects'. He elaborated on the reasons behind a client’s decision to outsource and how to measure client satisfaction.
