The workshop design is highly experiential, building on principles of accelerated learning. The workshop will use a computer simulation to create a project environment. This workshop condenses months of project experience into two or three days, using a computerized case study to simulate rapid-fire decision-making situations. You will improve your ability to control projects by compiling essential information into meaningful management metrics reports from which to make sound informed decisions. You will learn how to structure a presentation of key information to improve communications with senior management, customer and project staff. The program also promotes team relationships and emphasizes the importance of effective group dynamics, synergy, and the need for communications, resource allocation, unexpected contingencies, conflicts, and acceleration decisions. These team and interpersonal skills and behaviors are practiced, supported by various exercises with immediate feedback on impacts.
