Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Southern Region and Project Management Institute (PMI) are jointly organising a two day conference on Project Management on May 21-22, 2010 at Hotel Taj Coromandel, Chennai. KPMG being the knowledge partner.

Theme of the conference is Orchestrating Complex Projects. The theme basically illustrates the many roles we all play in our modern day projects, while some projects are like symphonic productions; others are more tailored to particular requirements.

Conference on Project Management is an interactive forum bringing together project management professionals and key decision makers across the public and private sector.

Objective

The objective of the conference is taking project management practices across sectors, ideating implementable project management practices to industry, focus on current project management practices/concerns, showcase successful experiences and key issues, a platform to brainstorm project.

The conference charter would dwell on thought leaders to share the importance of project management practices, case studies on large nation building projects, assist participants to develop a deep understanding of the project management challenges in the reviving economy, motivate and encourage all sectors and industry players for adopting project management principles.
