I am an engineer and have been working on projects for the past two years. How do I progress in my career?
Your best option is to do a full-time MBA in Operations or Supply Chain Management from an institute of repute. This would mean taking a career-break, but it would be most useful to you. You could still apply to management schools for admissions for the June batch. If you can't give up your job, you may pursue an online MBA and simultaneously pursue further courses from the Project Management Institute (www.pmi.org.in).
Which MBA is better for a Psychology graduate?
Your best option for an MBA is to choose a specialisation that interests you the most. Generally, people with your background end up doing an MBA in HRD, Advertising, Marketing or Mass Communication as the knowledge of Psychology is most useful in these areas of study. You may also consider specialisation in Industrial or Clinical Psychology and then seek a corporate career.
