Description:

Eligibility Criteria:

• PMI Member who is passionate about Project Management
• PMI Credential Holder preferred
• Is either a practicing Project Manager or has overall responsibility/accountability for Project Managers under him/her.
• Typically he/she should be 'Team Lead' or a senior member of a team, Project Managers, Program Managers, Training and HR Personnel of the company.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience
• Should be aware of the PMBOK® Guide and PMI Standards and processes and PMI code of ethics.
• Should be fully conversant with PMI membership, its benefits and credential procedures.
• Should be able to commit 15-20 Hours/Quarter for the Champion Activities. This will have to be over and above their already available work as part of their employment
• Open to travel based on need within the country.
• Should not be an office bearer of a chapter or associated with an REP.
• Prior experience of Voluntary activities is preferable.
• Good presentation and communication skill is a must. Should have experience in delivering lectures/presentations/ at various public events/ seminars/ conferences (minimum 2 events in last 2 years to qualify)

General Guidelines:

• Resume should not exceed 3 pages.
• Volunteers need to ensure that they have the necessary clearance/approval according to his/her organizational policies as applicable for taking up the Champions role. A declaration to this effect should be included in the resume/application form.
• Champions may hold position in PMI Chapters, REP, Chapter Clusters or any other PMI components but they need to relinquish those positions before assuming the champions role.
• Volunteers will be on boarded initially as Champions Level-1 and subsequently based on their performance they may be graduated as Champions Level-2
