Dr. Mona N. Shah
Dr. Mona N. Shah is Professor and Dean of School of Projects, Real Estate and Infrastructure Management at the National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR) at Pune, India since 2003. She earlier served in the industry for over 15 years.
Her teaching interests include Management, Leadership, and Sustainability, in the field of projects, real estate, construction and infrastructure. She has to her credit 39 published papers, and 2 books in international journals like Habitat International, Asian Journal of Case Management, Udyog Pragati, NICMAR Journal of Construction Management etc. She has authored over 21 published cases. She has led grant based research projects for corporate, government and academic institutions.
Mona N. Shah graduated in 1987, from Fergusson College Pune with a degree in Economics followed by MBA from SIBM Pune in 1987. She received her Ph.D. in 2007.
She is twice recipient of the Best Research Paper Award, 2005 and 2010 of the Indian Buildings Congress. She stood first in the Diploma in Housing Laws in 2007. She is an invited speaker and member of several committees.
Dr. Gangadhar Mahesh
Dr. Gangadhar Mahesh is an Assistant Professor at National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal since 2013. Earlier, he was an Assistant Professor at National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR), Pune and a Post Doctoral Fellow in The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong.
His teaching and research interests are contracts management, infrastructure management, risk management and construction industry development frameworks. He has to his credit more than 30 publications in books, journals and conferences and has been involved in a wide range of research projects, mostly in Hong Kong and a few in India and Thailand. He also has extensive experience in the industry having worked as an Architect in India and as a contracts manager in Thailand.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from University of Mysore, a Masters degree in Infrastructure Engineering from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand, and a Ph. D in Construction Management from The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong.
He was the recipient of Wen-Jiang Prize in 2004 for outstanding academic performance and excellent research project in the field of Infrastructure Engineering at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.
